Description

Taken from inside the house. Nest was just outside my window. The baby bird is 4 days old and I was surprised to see him up and chirpping loudly. It was a hot sunny day and the baby was thirsty. The mother woundn't leave it until the sun had passed. She was protecting the baby bird from the hot sun. When the sun passed, she went and got him water and dropped it in his beak. This all was amazing to watch.
